Deer Creek Parent-Teacher Club Welcomes You!

The Deer Creek PTC is an active group of volunteers that coordinates fundraising efforts, as well as “just plain fun” activities throughout the school year. Through the PTC’s support, school programs and needs are met, including our award winning Healthy Kids program, Farm-to-School program, internet-based Accelerated Reading program, assemblies, classroom supplies, library books, field trip scholarships, family friendly social gatherings, the Deer Creek orchard, and grade specific events.

The PTC invites you to help make Deer Creek a successful experience by getting involved in one or more ways:
  • We graciously accept monetary donations (100% tax deductible)
  • We champion volunteering for any of our events
  • We welcome parents to join monthly meetings held the first Thursday of every month during the school year at 3:00 pm in the Staff Room. Childcare is provided free of charge.
This year the PTC will plan the following major fundraisers:
  • Fall - Mini Marathon
  • Spring - Party in the pines (adult only event)
  • Spring - Read-a-Thon
On-going fundraisers include: collecting Box Tops for Education, eScrip grocery and online shopping program, our seasonal garden cart, and monthly ice cream Fridays at Baskin Robbins in Grass Valley.
